Why Hard Work Might Not Get You What You Expect

There are many 'magic pills' that are offered by the online community for those looking for success. Whatever field you're in, there's always a magic pill product that you can buy (for a limited time only, of course). Predictably, most of these are rubbish and they rarely fulfill their promises. There is, however, one magic pill that I can offer you that will guarantee you success. This is focused, consistent work mixed with a vision. Both the vision and the hard work are as important as each other, and combining the two over a period of time will make you successful. However, you might not always get the success that you expect...

As an analogy, many people believe that pushing on Door A hard enough will get it to open (they have envisioned what is behind Door A and them pushing on the door is their hard work in action). However, sometimes you push hard on Door A only to find that Door B opens, and what's behind Door B is even greater than what was behind Door A.

This kind of thing has happened many times to me through all my years of business, and it never ceases to amaze me every time it happens.

At the end of the day working hard and staying focused is the key to success. While you might sometimes not get what you originally expected (or wanted), if you work hard then you'll always succeed in some form or another.
