We, as Americans, have become rather lazy in our work. We do our 9 to 5 and then we head out the door to sit on our backsides all evening and watch television. Sure there are some hardworking Americans out there that leave one job, go to the next only to sleep two hours before working again, but those are few and far between. By working hard, we achieve so much more than just sitting there thinking about how we should work harder. Everyone should enjoy the opportunity they are given to work harder, because each time they put a little more effort into the pot, they are that much closer to succeeding in life.
How many of us Americans are riddled with debt? We lose sleep, don't eat, and cry every day at our debts, but how many of those people are still only working one job? Instead of crying about your debts, you have to actually make a dent in them. It is time to get up, wipe up those tears, and find a second job. Work hard to succeed your plans of getting out of debt rather than just stating you will with each passing year.
So many of us have our complaints and faults, but we are oblivious to the fact they exist. We do not look at the bigger picture of why we are where we are. We simply sit there wanting a pity party without putting much thought into what put you in that position to begin with. Without recognizing the problem, how far are you going to get in life fixing it? Perhaps you spend way too much money without every setting a budget. Perhaps that large SUV you are driving with the six-disc surround sound and leather seating is part of your debt issue? Or perhaps it is the credit cards that you rake up every month just to let them stew in interest until you get that next bonus check.
If you think about what is really causing all of these plagues in your life, you can start to fix it. Realize where you are going wrong, cease hold of it, and tell yourself you can actually fix it. Go forth, set a plan, and get moving! Things do not just fix themselves, you have to be willing to put forth the hard work and do it. When it comes to something like debt getting in your way. Realize why you have the debt problem, pick a solution on how you can actually fix it, then tell yourself you can fix it and do it!
Though this type of concept seems rather simple, it is a sad fact that most people will never take it on. They will just continue to sit and wallow, rather than jump up and take action. Hard work pays off to those who do it. Those who just dream about it will most likely still be dreaming for years to come.
